As we reach the end of 2025, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on what has been an exciting and transformative year for EF Engineering. We’ve supported clients at shows all over the world, strengthened our in-house capabilities, and prepared the foundations for a major brand refresh coming in 2026.
Most importantly, we have continued to grow, not just in size, but in expertise, ambition, and the pride we take in the work we do. With a curious and committed team behind us, EF Engineering is in a strong position as we move into 2026 and beyond.
Welcoming New Technical Strength
At the end of 2024, we welcomed Matthew Stroud as our Design Engineer. With experience from companies including Lawrence David Group, Matt has already made a huge impact.
He brings advanced CAD skills, a strong understanding of engineering manufacturing, and the rare ability to “speak the language” of both the product creators and the exhibition teams. He has also spearheaded our in-house 3D printing capability, reducing costs and lead times, helping us remain highly responsive to our clients’ needs.
Investing in Marketing and Communication
In early 2025, we added Kirsty Smith, our first-ever in-house Social Media and Content Executive. This is a big milestone for us, having an internal marketing function means we can finally share more of what we do and ensure more people discover EF Engineering’s work. Kirsty joins us with a background spanning agency and in-house roles within the science industry, and she has very quickly immersed herself in the engineering and exhibition world.
Strengthening Production Leadership
In Q3, we welcomed Craig Harmer as our Production Leader, a role we now need as our workshop grows and as our leadership team continues to focus on the bigger picture. Craig brings over 20 years of industry experience, including from Caterpillar and Hanson Construction. His knowledge and leadership are already making a noticeable difference within the production team.
Building on Finance
Our most recent addition is Christian Woodham, joining as our in-house Finance Assistant. This is another important step for us, improving financial processes and giving us better visibility and control as we scale.
Together, this expanded team strengthens every part of EF Engineering and sets us up for a confident next chapter.
A New Website and Brand Refresh
One project I’m particularly excited about is our brand refresh and new website, coming in 2026.
This is something I’ve wanted to progress for some time, and with Kirsty now on board, we finally have the resources in-house to drive it forward. EF Engineering is evolving and our brand will reflect that, with updated styling, a modernised identity, and a clearer representation of the full scope of our capabilities.
You may already have noticed a shift in tone and visuals on our social media channels. Below is a preview of our new logo and brand colours. Just a hint of what’s to come.

Looking Ahead to 2026
2026 will be the year we embed the new team members, promote new ways of working with cutting edge techniques, demonstrate the added value we offer our clients with our capabilities and to use a quieter show calendar to drive our sustainability agenda.
Packaging our services and products in a way that adds real value for our clients, building those strong partnerships that are mutually beneficial, will be key to how we move forward in 2026. Growing the opportunities we have in new areas such as space, education and energy are important focus areas.
This all combines to create an exciting year for the brand, the team and our clients at EF Engineering.
Thank You and Here’s to the Year Ahead
